VESPERS!

DO YOU LIKE CONTEMPORARY MUSIC?  DO YOU LIKE PRAISING GOD THROUGH SINGING?

Then you’ll want to worship at the VESPERS service!  Join Carl Schullo and other new band members as they lead worship through song. ALL AGES are welcome to this informal ecumenical service, including high school youth, those in college, families, singles & more.

Summer Worship time:  8:00pm through September 5th.   Come together for worship, singing, praying, and meditation, and scripture.  Check the Bethel Weekly News, the kiosk in the Downtown Narthex, or the Highlands Welcome Center for any cancellations or changes.   See how over a hundred of people of all ages each week are worshipping!

"Tell everyone on this earth to shout praises to God!  Sing about his glorious name.  Honor him with praises.  Say to God, 'everything you do is fearsome, and your mighty power makes your enemies come crawling.  You are worshipped by everyone! We all sing praises to you.'"  Psalm 66:1-4

Acolyte for Worship Services
8th and 9th Grade Confirmation Students

As part of the curriculum for 8th and 9th grade confirmation studies, each student is scheduled to perform acolyte duties at the 8:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. services. Each Fall, Pastor Nelson holds acolyte training for 8th Graders that covers in detail the duties of the acolyte.  By clicking on the link below, you can download a copy of the Acolyte Refresher Tips to review prior to your scheduled time. The 2010-2011 acolyte schedule will be posted in September and includes all students in the event you need to switch times with someone. If for some reason, you are unable to serve at your scheduled time, it is up to you to find a replacement and to notify the church office.  You may check the Acolyte Schedule link below to find a replacement.  It is Bethel's policy to not list home phone numbers on the web page, so please check your church directory or call the church office at 715-386-8821 for phone numbers.  Since many schedule changes occur, the most recent updates will be posted in the Bethel Weekly News.

Senior League
Grades 9-12

There are no boundaries for this age! They do it all! Sandwiched between ski trips and service trips, you’ll find them at the Senior High Youth Gathering in New Orleans, sleeping in boxes for the 30-Hour Famine, and taking trips to: Valleyfair, Apostles Island, the Boundary Waters. They go Christmas shopping for needy families, roller-blading at the Metrodome, play frisbee golf at Willow River State Park, play broomball and softball. Each year in the fall, these teens make care packages for Bethel young people away at school or in the armed forces. The list goes on and on. Every Wednesday throughout the school year is Senior League night, when we get together for devotions and fun.

Check out Senior League Events!
